F1 NOT Breakfast - U.S. GP, October 25th

F1 Fans,

Rey has got us a table reservation at Shorebreak Pizza & Taphouse in VA Beach to watch the U.S. GP at COTA, which starts at 4 p.m.  Wasn't sure what to call it - too late for lunch, too early for dinner, so I went with F1 NOT Breakfast!  For those that haven't been to Shore Break, they have a large menu, but the pizza is on special on Sundays. This is the location on Shore Drive, not the one in Pungo.  We will be in there with the football fans, so we may get weird looks, lol!  We may even do the Mexican GP there if we don't get kicked out for being too noisy and rowdy!!

F1 Breakfast, Singapore GP - October 11th

F1 Fans,

You can say we are getting spoiled or lazy, but the delayed streaming of the Bahrain GP in Malaysia last week not only allowed us to watch it at a reasonable hour for a F1 Breakfast, but also saved us almost 2 hours' worth of a rain delayed start messing about.  

So, by unanimous vote, we are watching the Singapore GP at 9 a.m. instead of the actual 8 a.m. start time.  Don't know if there is any threat of rain for this race, but no matter what, we have the ability to fast forward through any start delays.  See you there - BTW, same rules apply for dropping any spoilers!

P.S. This will be our last gathering until the Brazilian GP in November.

F1 Breakfast - Bahrain GP, October 4th

F1 Fans,

Our delayed streaming of the Azerbaijan GP last Saturday worked out nicely, so we are doing it again for this Sunday's race.  As mentioned in the last post, the "Bahrain" GP is actually being held at the Sepang track in Malaysia.  The time difference to Malaysia means that the live race start is 3 a.m. our time.  Since we can stream the race whenever we want with Apple TV, we will do our F1 Breakfast at the more civilized time of 9 a.m.  

No pre-peeking at your devices and anyone dropping a spoiler pays for everybody's breakfast! Agreed?  Hope to see you there!
