F1 Breakfast - Bahrain GP, October 4th

F1 Fans,

Our delayed streaming of the Azerbaijan GP last Saturday worked out nicely, so we are doing it again for this Sunday's race.  As mentioned in the last post, the "Bahrain" GP is actually being held at the Sepang track in Malaysia.  The time difference to Malaysia means that the live race start is 3 a.m. our time.  Since we can stream the race whenever we want with Apple TV, we will do our F1 Breakfast at the more civilized time of 9 a.m.  

No pre-peeking at your devices and anyone dropping a spoiler pays for everybody's breakfast! Agreed?  Hope to see you there!

F1 Breakfast - Azerbaijan GP, September 26th

F1 Fans - 

ATTENZIONE! The GP at Baku is this Saturday (that's right - Saturday) due to the Azerbaijan Remembrance Day holiday being on Sunday.  Not only that, but we will be watching a delayed streaming of the race starting at 9 a.m. at M&P's.  There was a unanimous vote the last race to watch at 9 versus the actual live race start time of 7 a.m.  Since we have this option available to us via the Apple TV app, we get to sleep in on this one.

To add to your bewilderment, the next race on October 4th, labeled as the Bahrain GP, is actually in Malaysia.  That race starts at 3 a.m., so we will be watching a delayed streaming of that one too!

F1 Breakfast - Spanish GP, September 13th

Hola F1 Amigos,

This Sunday F1 returns to Madrid after about a four decade absence.  Not only that, but it is taking place at the new Madring (great name) venue, which is part purpose-built track and part public roads.  The track's crown jewel is a banked, 270 degree turn called "La Monumental" which will surround an arena full of F1 fans!  Carlos Sainz estimates the drivers will be entering this turn at about 180-200 kph and will continue accelerating throughout the entire 550 meter length.  

Ok, I'm in - how about you?!!
