F1 Fans,
Two GPs to go before the summer break. This Sunday we have the Belgian GP. Hope to see you there - 9 a.m. race. The FIFA final will not be until 3:00 p.m., so we are safe!

F1 Fans,
It's finally here - the 250th birthday of the good ole' USA. Oddly enough, we have the British GP the next day on the 5th. Well, we're all good chums now, aren't we? Maybe Cadillac will show the flag of American might and know-how by actually finishing a race this time! Oooh!
Thankfully, the GP at Silverstone doesn't start until 10 a.m., which gives us some time to recover from any late night fireworks on the 4th (it WILL be noisy). So, give your dogs some doggy tranquilizers and see you Sunday! Happy 4th everybody!
F1 Fans,
With an apparent chink in the Mercedes armor and Lewis Hamilton picking up his first win for Ferrari, is it possible that F1 is hotting up just in time for summer? Let's hope so!
The cool hills of Austria will be alive with music (our kind of music anyway) this Sunday at 9 a.m., see you there!
F1 Fans,
I'm back from the land of crazy soccer mania and am looking forward to rejoining the much more sedate, sane world of F1. How about that Monaco race? Let's see what happens this Sunday at Barcelona! Futbol!!!
F1 Fans,
Seems like a month of Sundays since we've had our last F1 Breakfast, probably because it is/has/was (you know what I'm talking about). The Silver Arrows seem unstoppable, and Kimi Antonelli's four win streak has got Gorgeous George clutching his pearls! Oh my!
Can Kimi make it five at Monaco? Will Charles throw caution to the winds on his home track? And what of George, Max, and the rest? Too juicy, but alas I will not be able to make this one. No, I'm not going to Monaco, but I will be watching from afar. Everyone please have a great time for me!
F1 Fans,
Well, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia GPs are cancelled due the Iran conflict and Mercedes looks to be all but unstoppable on race day. I predicted a crazy season, but this is not what I had in mind!
Since we have no Bahrain Brunch, let's do a F1 Breakfast for the Japan GP this Sunday! How you say? We can do a delayed streaming of the race on the Apple TV app at Mom & Pop's. We'll commence streaming at our usual 9 a.m. breakfast time. My heartfelt thanks to Skip, Rey and Susan for checking everything out at Mom & Pop's to make sure we are good to go with this. In the future, we can now delay stream all GPs that start in the wee hours of the morning to the more sensible 9 a.m. time and do a F1 Breakfast. Neat huh?
Looking forward to seeing everybody this Sunday!
F1 Fans,
Boy, oh boy, oh boy. Leave town for a couple of weeks and look what happens! I made the "Day of Infamy" reference before I left, but now I make another prediction: there will be as much, if not more, yelling and hollering coming from the back room at Mom & Pop's than there was on December 12, 2021.
***NOBODY MISS THIS ONE!!!
F1 Fans,
The final GP race and our final F1 breakfast of 2025. I'm posting this prior to the Las Vegas GP, so the only prediction I can make is December 7th will be the day of infamy for one of three F1 drivers! Hope to see you there!
F1 Fans,
2025 GP season is winding down and turning out to be a corker. Join us for brunch at Mom & Pop's to watch the action!
F1 Fans,
Well, welly, welly well. Four races to go, one point between the McLaren drivers, and of course, Max is in their mirrors. Sprint weekend as well, so tasty and exciting all at the same time. Let's do an F1 Lunch!
F1 Fans -
This Sunday is the Singapore GP night race - which is fortunately breakfast time for us! Max seems to be staging some type of comeback lately, however he has yet to manage a win in Singapore. The Mclaren drivers will be as tense as a tick on a matchstick. (I just made that one up, so feel free to groan).
Won't be able to make this one - so will catch up with you for Brazil. 8 a.m. race, so don't be late!
F1 Fans,
This Sunday we're back on the streets of Baku for the always exciting Azerbaijan GP. This will be an EARLY race for us - 7 a.m. start! So early that we had to make arrangements with Mom & Pop's for them to let us in at 6:45. Hope to see all you early birds there!
F1 Fans,
Sunday we have the Italian GP at Monza. Ah Italia, home of the spicy meataballza and other tasty dishes. Speaking of which, the Mclaren drivers' championship is getting to be about as spicy and tasty as you could hope for. Not to mention Max is not so far off that he couldn't "Maximize" his chances if the Mclarens get too spicy with each other!
Hope to see you there - 9 a.m. race.
F1 Fans,
We're back from summer break, and Cadillac has announced their drivers for next season: Bottas & Perez! It will be good to see Vallteri and Checo back on the grid.
Netherlands GP is on for this Sunday - hope to see you all there. 9:00 am race time.
F1 Fans,
Last race before the summer break. I should be back by then!
F1 Fans,
Coming off the soggy but exciting British GP, we will have the (usually) soggy Belgian GP. Since I will be out of pocket with variable connectivity for a while, I am doing advance postings for both the upcoming Belgian and Hungary GPs. See you all around the next turn!
F1 Fans -
It is the British Brunch this Sunday for the always exciting GP at Silverstone. I don't think the Mom & Pop's special will be the coma inducing Full English Breakfast, but I'm sure they will have one of their good ol' American gut-bombs available. As things are hotting up in the Driver's Championship, I think we all can expect McLaren and Lando to put on a good show for the home crowd.
See you there - don't forget, 10:00 a.m. start time for this one!
F1 Fans,
Things got a little spicy in Canada with both McLarens attempting to simultaneously occupy the same spot on track, and then Gorgeous George attempting to brake-check Max into a race ban. Overall, a great weekend for Mercedes - can they keep it up? Can Max keep his cool at Red Bull's home track? Will Oscar and Lando play nice with each other? Could be tasty, if not outright spicy!
Speaking of F1 drama - don't forget we are going to the F1 Movie this Saturday. I will send out a reminder after I post this. If you haven't done so already, please let me know by Tuesday if you want to go to lunch before the movie so I can make a reservation for us at Las Palmas. See you all this weekend!
F1 Fans,
I previously mentioned us getting together to watch the Brad Pitt F1 Movie. Planning to do a Saturday matinee at 12:30 p.m. on June 28th at the AMC Lynnhaven 18 theater. We can all meet at Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant across the street at 11:00 a.m. for a lunch special prior to the movie.
Click on the following link to get your tickets: F1 The Movie
Once in the website, select Virginia Beach for location, IMAX 2D for preferred format and SAT JUN 28 for date. AMC Lynnhaven 18 theater should pop-up, so select the 12:30pm showing to pick your seat(s). I picked F12-13, but feel free to select something to your liking, since I really don't know what good seats are for an IMAX theater. You can also get seats the day of the movie if you are not picky.
Please let me know if you plan to go to lunch so I can get a group reservation in at Las Palmas. Okay - sounds like fun to me, hope you all can make it!
