F1 Breakfast - Austrian GP, July 10th

F1 Fans,

Wow, the British GP had everything in it except rain/lighting strike, an earthquake, and sunspot activity knocking out comms. It made Martin Brundle's top ten list of all time favorite GP's, and that's saying something.

Now we are off to the Red Bull Ring in Austria, the season's halfway point and also the second sprint race qualifying.  It's been a roller coaster so far and F1 seems to be the gift that just keeps on giving!

Back to Mom & Pop's.  I heard everyone had fun with the juke box at the Azalea Inn. I WILL be present for this one - so see you there!

                 When:  Sunday, July 10th, 9 a.m.
Where: Mom & Pop's Family Restaurant
                              331 E. Bayview Blvd.
                              Norfolk, VA 23503

F1 Brunch - British GP, July 3rd

F1 Fans,

Race 10 of 22 this Sunday. Two British drivers for Mercedes, which is also homeported in the UK. Big upgrades (or so I'm told by the Internet). Everything on the line here: it's a go big or go home type of weekend.

I'm excited, are you? LOL, I know you are - see you at Mom & Pop's!  British Brunch, so sleep in to charge up your smack talk!

                 When:  Sunday, July 3rd, 10 a.m.
Where: Mom & Pop's Family Restaurant
                              331 E. Bayview Blvd.

F1 Lunch - Canadian GP - June 19th,

 F1 Fans,

What can be said about the Azerbaijan GP...let's see...oh yeah, 4 of 6 Ferrari engined cars, including both factory cars, had DNFs. Binotto views this as 'a concern'; too bad there's no end-of-year awards for DNFs and understatements!  Ferrari's garage was packed up for Canada before the race ended.

We'll have to see if the Ferrari Fade turns into a Ferrari Grenade, if it hasn't already!   Shifting from Baku to Montreal in one week is impressive and doesn't leave much time for any of the teams to recover.

Since Canada is a 2 p.m. start, Mom & Pop's is out.  I did however call up Patricia at Azalea Inn she said there is no problem if we go there.  I will have them set it up for us; but I am planning to be out of town for this one.  Have fun watching the show!

                 When:  Sunday, June 19th, 2 p.m.
Where: Azalea Inn & Timeout Sports Bar
                              2344 E. Little Creek Rd.
                              Norfolk, VA  23518
