The Imola GP has been called off by F1/FIA due to flooding in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy. Next F1 Breakfast will be for Monaco GP on May 28th.

F1 Breakfast - Azerbaijan GP, April 30th
F1 Fans,
We're back at Baku for an exciting weekend of racing which includes the first of 6 sprint races for the 2023 season. FYI, it's now called the "Sprint Shootout" (so American), and there are format changes. For one, the Friday qualifying session sets the grid for the Sunday GP; a second qually on Saturday sets the grid for the Shootout. So in reality, the spring races are strictly for points now, with no impact to the GP on Sunday. Word is Max doesn't particularly care for the sprint races, but since Max doesn't particularly care about what anybody else thinks, I don't know why the sportscasters keep asking him these types of questions!
As you know, Azerbai-yawn is an EARLY race (7 am). Skip has worked it out with Mom & Pop's to let us in early so we do not miss race start. They officially open right at 7, so recommend not getting there much before 6:45 or so. Sad to say, I can't make it for this one - so I'll see you next time!

F1 Lunch - Saudi Arabian GP, March 19th
F1 Fans,
Bahrain Brunch is behind us, so what do we know now? I'll answer by giving some adjectives to describe a few fan groups: Red Bull - cocky; Astin Martin; jazzed, Williams - (pleasantly) surprised, Haas (not particularly) surprised (otherwise known as disappointed), Ferrari & Mercedes - dismayed.
Another thing we know is that we are doing a F1 Lunch at Mom & Pops next Sunday. This is a 1 p.m. race start. Even though Mom & Pops shut the doors at 2pm on Sundays, they are going to allow their favorite F1 group to linger on until race end. Hopefully no red flags get waved or we could wear out our welcome! I will not be able to make it to this one - but will see you soon!
