Austrian GP Reminder

Just watching P1 on ESPN now.  No fans in the stands - so I guess we are it.  Don't forget we are going to be at Mom & Pop's this Sunday (see previous post).  Kimi is still racing.

F1 is back - and so are we!

F1 Fans,

It seems like 'forever-ago' that I wrote a post announcing a F1 Breakfast, but the time has come! First race of the season will be the Austrian GP on July 5th. I contacted Azalea Inn, and unfortunately they are not currently serving their Sunday breakfast and are unsure if they ever will.  Fortunately, thanks to Skip, we have a new place: Mom & Pop's Family Restaurant, located at Tidewater Drive and E. Bayview Blvd in Norfolk (see the 'Where we eat' page for more information). We will have our own viewing area with plenty of room to spread out. Best of all, they open at 7, have lots of options on their breakfast menu, and NO JUKEBOX!

2020 F1 Season - Postponned!

F1 Fans,

As you probably already know, F1 has delayed the 2020 season until 'late May'. The actual date and what races will be run, postponed, or cancelled is all dependent on the COVID-19 pandemic.

So, get yourself some extra TP (can never have enough), watch season 2 of Drive to Survive (they savaged Haas, poor bastards!) and relax.  Looks like the planet is going to be talking some snow days, or months, off.

When we get a firm schedule, I will let you know.  We might have a change of venue to consider for our breakfast location.  More to follow.
