Hampton Roads F1 Fans,
Welcome to the 2024 GP season! Let's just start by saying almost no one is going to be in their F1 comfort zone this year except for the RBR Max Verstappen fans. I won't try to go through the list of F1 DRAMA plot points that have broken cover in the last few months, I'll just leave that for the Netflix Drive to Survive script writers to present.
What I will talk about is the changes that will immediately affect us [ATTENZIONE!]. In case you didn't know, the first two GPs (Bahrain & Saudi Arabia), will be on a Saturday instead of Sunday. This has to do with Ramadan and a FIA rule that requiring a minimum seven day separation between GPs. Unfortunately, Mom & Pop's cannot accommodate us on those Saturdays. I have made arrangements for us to go our old watch spot, the Azalea Inn and Time Out Sports Bar. One issue for this Saturday is Azalea Inn does not serve breakfast and does not officially open until 11:00. The owner will let us in at 09:45 so we won't miss Max taking the lead (assuming he wasn't P1 already), and we can order food starting at 11:00. This will not be an issue for the following Saudi GP as it starts at noon.
Hope to see you all there!
